CIFI’s business model is designed to provide fast, flexible and fair project and structured financing products for new or expansion infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. We are responsive to the special financing needs of companies and provide advisory services to assist companies in structuring bankable transactions attractive to Regional and International lending institutions. We work closely with all the multilateral and bilateral financing agencies as well as with international and local commercial banks as participants or arrangers of syndicated loan transactions. To date, CIFI has participated in the financing of airports, seaports, hydroelectric and thermoelectric plants, telecommunication companies, a gas pipeline, transportation and logistics companies, railroads, a water desalinization plant, construction companies and a private university, among others. CIFI can structure its financing as senior or subordinated debt and can also provide guarantees and other liquidity facilities depending on a company’s needs. Terms and other lending conditions are market based and consistent with international lending practices.
